Decor Inspiration
By definition, Promenade is a leisurely stroll or walk, so for the Sixth Annual Promenade we’ve decided upon the theme, “A Walk to Remember”. We implement this theme not only for the décor, which we hope will invoke an ethereal setting of a dream vineyard and estate garden to wander in to your delight; but also to remind ourselves of the many people who are helped, served and changed at the YMCA. As we celebrate our 40th year in the St. Cloud Community, we dedicate this Promenade to all the volunteers, board members, donors, sponsors and staff that have allowed us to leave footprints throughout our community.
It is our vision that a ‘Walk to Remember’ will transform the Terry Haws auditorium into a dream-like spot of grand arbors, garden columns, whimsical floral tributes, intimate settings and grand vistas. From arrival to departure we want you to experience a ‘time out of time’ . . . a time of fine wines . . . elegant dining. . . heavenly music. . . warm friendly neighbors. . . and surreal surroundings, to be savored, strolled through, enjoyed and to become – a walk to remember.
